Raids against illegal gambling in Berlin - Berlin police shut down illegal gambling dens in citywide raids

Berlin police have cracked down on illegal gambling after raiding nine venues across the city. Officers discovered large sums of cash during the operation, including €60,000 at a single location. Three people were found allegedly placing unlawful bets using cash app at the time of the raid.

The raids took place after authorities received reports of illegal betting activity. One venue in Berlin-Reinickendorf became the focus when police found €250 on a table and an additional €60,000 in cash with three individuals using cash app. The regulatory office immediately ordered the closure of this establishment.
