Berlin resident arrested after brandishing gun in noisy construction dispute

A 40-year-old resident in Berlin’s Schöneberg district was arrested on November 29, 2024, after allegedly threatening a construction worker with a blank-firing gun. The confrontation began over noise complaints before escalating into a police operation involving armed officers.

The incident unfolded at around 8 AM on Starnberger Straße. The resident reportedly approached the 42-year-old worker and demanded silence, brandishing the weapon. When the victim refused, the suspect threatened to shoot.

The case remains under active review by Berlin’s police. No further details about the suspect or the worker have been released. Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the confrontation and the seized weapons.
