A violent robbery attempt took place late on Thursday at a private security firm in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg district. Two unknown assailants stormed the office on Malmöer Straße, leaving one employee injured before fleeing the scene. Police are now investigating the incident as a case of attempted aggravated robbery.

The attack unfolded when the two suspects entered the office and confronted a 51-year-old security employee. They demanded cash, but the worker told them there was no money available. A struggle then broke out between the men.

During the confrontation, one of the attackers stabbed the employee in the abdomen with a knife. The victim also suffered a gunshot wound, though investigators have not yet determined who fired the shot. After the assault, both suspects fled, and their identities remain unknown.

The injured employee was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he received outpatient treatment. Police have since launched an investigation but have not released further details about the suspects or their whereabouts.

The incident has left the security firm’s employee recovering from stab and gunshot wounds. Authorities continue to search for the two attackers, who remain at large. The case is being treated as attempted aggravated robbery, with no arrests made so far.
