Illegal Gambling: Two Establishments Closed in Berlin - Berlin shuts down two pubs in Reinickendorf over illegal gambling
Two pubs in Berlin’s Reinickendorf district have been shut down after police uncovered illegal gambling activities. The closures followed a week-long operation involving multiple agencies, including the Berlin Landeskriminalamt (LKA) and local regulatory authorities.
A total of ten venues in Reinickendorf were inspected over the past week. The checks were part of a coordinated effort by the LKA, the Ordnungsamt, tax officials, and police officers.
The two pubs now face further legal action over the unlicensed machines and regulatory violations. Authorities have confirmed that additional investigations into other venues may follow. The operation highlights the city’s continued efforts to enforce gambling and public safety laws.
