Berlin startup secures €1M to revolutionize off-grid energy with hydrogen generators
A Berlin-based startup, H2 Power 'n' Heat, has secured over €1 million in funding to expand its clean energy solutions. The company specialises in portable hydrogen fuel cells, offering a zero-emission alternative to diesel generators. Investors backed the project through the Companisto Business Angel Network to push forward production and market growth.
The startup's technology provides off-grid electricity for construction sites, mobile phone masts, and camping facilities. Their systems deliver between 2 and 7.2 kilowatts of power without noise, emissions, or hazardous substances. A smaller 5-kilowatt module, housed in a 19-inch rack, also allows for scalable use in both mobile and fixed setups.
H2 Power 'n' Heat's systems offer a practical solution where battery storage falls short. The funding will support wider production and faster adoption of their hydrogen-powered generators. If successful, the technology could transform off-grid energy supply in multiple industries.
