Berlin-Wedding stabbings leave two young men injured by fugitive suspect
Two men were stabbed in Berlin-Wedding yesterday evening, with both incidents linked and involving the same suspect who remains at large. The victims, a 22-year-old and a 26-year-old, were injured while attempting to break up a fight and inside a public toilet respectively.
The 22-year-old sustained a slash wound to his hand after trying to intervene in a dispute believed to be connected to the local drug scene. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old was stabbed in the foot inside a public toilet on Müllerstraße, seemingly without provocation. Both victims were promptly taken to hospitals for outpatient treatment.
Investigations into the two attacks are being handled by a specialized unit of Police Directorate 1 (North). Authorities have not yet confirmed the identity of the perpetrator, who fled the scene following the incidents.
The public is urged to come forward with any information that could assist in identifying and apprehending the suspect. Anyone with knowledge of the incidents is encouraged to contact local law enforcement. Both victims are expected to recover from their injuries.
