Berlin’s 1928 S-Bahn revives history on a nostalgic 2026 Easter journey
Berlin is set to host a historic S-Bahn journey in 2026. The 90-minute ride will traverse diverse neighborhoods, offering passengers a unique glimpse into the city's past.
The heritage Easter train, scheduled for 2026, will pass through iconic locations such as Potsdamer Platz, Nordbahnhof, Prenzlauer Allee, Ostkreuz, and Schöneweide. At Schöneweide, passengers can transfer to a vintage tram or a classic double-decker bus and continue their journey towards FEZ Wuhlheide.
The historic S-Bahn train, built in 1928, is currently stationed at Berlin Ostbahnhof on Track 10, ready for its special run.
