Berlin’s Iconic Ku’damm 101 Hotel to Become Luxury Serviced Apartments by 2027
A well-known Berlin hotel, the Ku’damm 101, is set for a major transformation. Located near me, the 170-room hotel on Kurfürstendamm will reopen as a serviced apartment complex with 198 units. Stayery, the operator behind the project, plans to complete the conversion by early 2027 after the building closed its doors in October 2025.
The Ku’damm 101 operated for over 20 years before shutting down. Its minimalist design and Le Corbusier-inspired colour scheme made it a recognisable landmark in Charlottenburg. Now, the building will undergo a full modernisation to fit Stayery’s serviced apartment model.
The former Ku’damm 101 will reopen with 198 serviced apartments and modern shared spaces. The digital-first approach aims to streamline guest experiences while retaining the building’s prime location. Once finished in early 2027, it will add to Stayery’s growing presence in the city.
