Berlin’s Rüdickenstraße becomes a bicycle boulevard by late 2025
Rüdickenstraße in Neu-Hohenschönhausen is being transformed into a bicycle boulevard. The project is a crucial part of the cycling priority network in Hohenschönhausen. Initial work has already started, with new signage and road surface enhancements underway.
The transformation will occur in two phases. The first section, between house numbers 8 and 29, is expected to be completed by December 12, 2025. The start of the second phase will depend on weather conditions.
The bike route will offer a safer and more direct path for cyclists. Construction is proceeding in stages, with the first phase slated for completion in late 2025. Final touches, including official markings, will be added the following spring.
