Bihar election fallout: Owaisi and Modi clash over strategies after NDA’s win

Asaduddin Owaisi, president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), has thanked Bihar voters for electing his party's candidates in five assembly constituencies. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hailed the NDA's victory in Bihar, attributing it to the party's focus on women and youth.

Owaisi has urged non-NDA parties to reflect on their losses in the Bihar polls. He specifically mentioned the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), stating that they need to understand why they couldn't halt the BJP's rise in the state. Owaisi maintained his earlier prediction that the RJD would struggle to stop the BJP's momentum.

In response to Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav's remarks, Owaisi advised the opposition to focus on addressing their own issues rather than blaming others. He suggested that parties should adopt humility, as the era of leaders considering voters as subjects is over. Owaisi also appealed to those who believe in the traditional 'MY' (Muslim-Yadav) combination to reassess their strategies.

PM Modi, in his address after the NDA's win, referred to a new 'MY' formula - women and youth - highlighting the party's focus on these demographics. He also took a swipe at the RJD's traditional Muslim-Yadav support base, referring to it as the 'MY vote bank'.

Asaduddin Owaisi has called upon minority voters to become 'vote takers' rather than just 'vote givers' to strengthen their leadership and counter 'communal and fascist forces'. Meanwhile, PM Modi has celebrated the NDA's victory in Bihar, attributing it to the party's focus on women and youth. Both leaders have offered insights into their respective parties' strategies moving forward.
