BJP woos Karbi Anglong youth with education and job pledges ahead of 2026 polls

A Yuva Sammelan was held at Langsudo playground in Dongkamukam on Friday, organised by the BJP Yuva Morcha (BJYM) West Karbi Anglong. The event drew hundreds of young attendees from the 111 Rongkhang and 112 Amri Legislative Assembly constituencies. KAAC Chief Dr Tuliram Ronghang addressed the gathering as the chief guest.

During his speech, Dr Ronghang outlined the BJP's contributions to education in the region. He highlighted free provisions for students, covering levels from Lower Primary to Post Graduate. These included school uniforms, textbooks, and menstrual products for girls.

He also stressed the government's commitment to merit-based recruitment. According to him, recent hires were made purely on qualification, proving transparent governance. Looking ahead, he promised one-time financial aid for unemployed youths in Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong if the BJP wins the 2026 Assam Assembly Election. Toward the end, Dr Ronghang urged first-time voters and young people to back the BJP in the upcoming polls. The event aimed to rally support among the region's youth ahead of the election.

The Sammelan brought together young voters from two key constituencies. Dr Ronghang's pledges focused on education, employment, and transparent governance. The BJP's outreach continues as the 2026 election approaches.
