BJP’s grand ‘Vande Mataram’ celebrations unite Indore ahead of voter list overhaul

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Indore is gearing up for a series of events to celebrate the 150th anniversary of 'Vande Mataram' and strengthen grassroots support. Party president Amit Shah announced the plans, emphasizing the importance of restoring the national anthem's full honour and uniting citizens under the 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' initiative.

BJP Indore city president Sumit Mishra presided over a workshop focusing on upcoming programmes and voter list revision. He highlighted the significance of booth workers, considering them the 'real election warriors' and crucial for grassroots strengthening. The workshop was attended by senior BJP leaders, the Mayor-in-Council member, and other prominent figures.

A patriotic event is scheduled at Rajwada, Indore, for collective singing of 'Vande Mataram' in front of Ahilya Mata's statue. Participants are encouraged to attend in their traditional attire, representing India's cultural diversity. Similar events are taking place at 150 locations across India, including ten in Madhya Pradesh.

BJP workers are urged to thoroughly verify voter lists at their respective booths. A special intensive revision of electoral rolls will be based on the 2003 voter list and last for one month, aiming to add eligible voters and remove fake or duplicate names.

The BJP's celebrations aim to restore 'Vande Mataram's' full glory and unite citizens under the spirit of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'. The party is also focusing on voter list revision to ensure accurate and inclusive electoral rolls, demonstrating its commitment to grassroots engagement and national unity.
