BJP’s viral satire mocks opposition chaos ahead of key elections

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released a satirical video on its official X account, poking fun at opposition leaders ahead of the upcoming elections. The clip, which uses morphed visuals from the 2003 film Hungama, quickly went viral with over 836,000 views in just 24 hours.

The video portrays the opposition leaders in a chaotic, disorganised manner, mocking their election preparations. The BJP captioned it with a sarcastic line in Hindi: 'Samajh rahe hain na...agli baari kis-kis ki hai...' (You must be understanding...who will be next).

The video’s rapid spread highlights how political satire can dominate digital conversations before elections. Rathee’s inclusion, in particular, has intensified discussions about the role of independent voices in political debates. The BJP’s move has not only mocked opposition leaders but also drawn attention to the growing influence of online commentators in shaping public opinion.
