Blatten's Future Looks Bright: Village Rebuilding Plans Unveiled in 2025
Blatten's future is looking bright as plans to rebuild the village by 2030 are set to be revealed. The reconstruction plans will be unveiled at a solidarity event in Köniz Castle on November 6, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The event will also celebrate the 60-year partnership between Blatten and Köniz.
Blatten residents and local authorities are working together to shape the village's future. They believe in Blatten's potential and aim to restore it by 2030. The event on November 6 will see municipal president Matthias Bellwald and Council of States member Beat Rieder present the reconstruction plans. Beat Rieder, a member of the Swiss Council of States from the canton of Valais, is an advocate and notary working in Brig. He is affiliated with the political party Die Mitte.
The event in Köniz Castle promises to be a significant milestone in Blatten's journey towards recovery. With the support of its residents and authorities, Blatten looks forward to a prosperous future by 2030.
