Blaubeuren Gate Festival Celebrates New Bridge and Tunnel on November 30
Mark your calendars for November 30, 2025. The Community Festival at Blaubeuren Gate is set to take place from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, celebrating the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Wallstraße Bridge and the Blaubeuren Gate Tunnel. The event promises a mix of entertainment, information, and fun for all ages.
Transport Minister Winfried Hermann, Regional President Klaus Tappeser, and Ulm’s Lord Mayor Martin Ansbacher will grace the festival with their presence. They will be joined by representatives from the city of Ulm, the state of Baden-Württemberg, the involved planning offices, and invited guests from politics and business.
The festival grounds will transform into a vibrant hub with information booths, street food stalls offering a variety of culinary delights, and mulled wine to warm up the winter chill. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Max Wild Works Band and the Hohenlohe Brass Quintet, ensuring a lively atmosphere.
For the younger attendees, a sandpit will be set up to keep them engaged. Meanwhile, everyone can enjoy communal singing led by Patrick Bopp and his band. The festival will also host panel discussions and guided tours, providing insights into the upcoming projects.
Public transport will be easily accessible via tram lines 2, 5, and 6. For those driving, parking will be available at the IKEA parking lot.
