Boeing's final departure from Condor: Goodbye flight for the 757-300 aircraft

For 35 years, Boeing machines have been a staple of Condor's fleet. However, as the airline looks to the future, it's time to say goodbye to the Boeing 757-300. Condor's COO, Christian Schmitt, has announced that the airline will exclusively operate Airbus machines in the future, marking a new era for the company.

This change is not without its sentimental moments. In a bid to bid farewell to the iconic Boeing 757-300, Condor is hosting an "exclusive farewell flight". The last Boeing 757-300 will depart from Condor's base in Frankfurt and fly to Vienna, offering aviation enthusiasts and employees a chance to say a final goodbye.

The last scheduled flights of the Boeing 757-300 include routes from Frankfurt and Munich airports to Antalya from October 27th to 31st. The last Boeing 757-300 machines in Germany can still be experienced in regular operation until early November.

For one lucky 75 passengers, the end of an era will be marked by a unique opportunity. Condor will auction 75 flight tickets for the farewell flight online via the Condor Shop from September 22nd. Some fans will have the opportunity to join the farewell flight alongside long-standing companions of the Boeing 757-300.

The return flight from Vienna will feature "the highest party in the world". Upon arrival in Vienna, the Boeing 757 will be honored with a farewell event. This farewell flight is significant not just for aviation enthusiasts and employees at Condor, but for anyone who has enjoyed the service of the Boeing 757-300 over the years.

As Condor prepares to take off with its modern, efficient, and more sustainable Airbus fleet, it's important to remember the aircraft that have helped shape its history. One such individual is Mia Schrader, a trainee at AERO International who has gained journalistic experience. Mia, who has been interested in aviation since her childhood, will no doubt follow Condor's journey into the future with great interest.

With the departure of the Boeing 757, an era at Condor comes to an end. But as the airline expands its route network to include city connections, making it more than just a holiday airline, it's clear that there's much to look forward to. The Boeing 757-300 may be leaving Condor's fleet, but its legacy will live on.
