Bogorodsk man arrested for drunk driving on unregistered moped after prior offenses
A 50-year-old man in Bogorodsk has been arrested for operating an unregistered moped while under the influence of alcohol. Yury V. was stopped by police on Komsomolskaya Street after officers noticed his erratic behavior. This is not his first offence involving alcohol and vehicles.
The incident took place when local police spotted Yury V. operating the moped in an unstable manner. Upon stopping him, they confirmed he was intoxicated. The vehicle was found to be unregistered, leading to its immediate seizure.
Yury V. faces potential penalties under the criminal case. The moped, which was neither registered nor legally operated, will remain in state possession. His previous fine for drunk driving may also factor into the court’s decision.
