Brace for Major Traffic Disruptions on B 294 in Eutin
Motorists and residents in the area should brace for significant traffic disruptions in the coming weeks. The B 294 federal road in Eutin will undergo major renovations, leading to full closures and detours.
Starting Monday, October 6, work on the Elzach bypass (B 294) will commence. The road will be fully closed from Monday to Wednesday (October 27 to 29) between 8 am and 4:30 pm, and continuously from Thursday, October 30, around 8 am to Friday, October 31, around 5 pm. This stretch of road, between the roundabout and the Aral gas station, will remain closed during the autumn holidays (October 27 to 31).
During these closures, traffic will be rerouted via Haslach and Biederbach. Public transport will be limited, but bus services will continue to operate. A single-lane traffic light system will regulate traffic at the intersection during renovation.
From Monday, November 3, to Friday, November 7, the intersection at the Aral gas station (L 107) will be renovated. Traffic will be regulated by a single-lane traffic light system during this period as well.
The renovations are expected to last for a week and a half, with traffic disruptions continuing until the work is completed. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and expect delays.
