Brahmin community rallies for AJJAKS chief’s removal over controversial remarks
Members of the Brahmin community have announced a protest against controversial remarks made by AJJAKS president Santosh Verma. The protests, led by the Brahmin Samaj Sanyukta Morcha, will start on Friday evening at Vallabh Bhavan in the state capital. Organisers have called for widespread support from community groups and individuals.
The protest was organised after a meeting held under the Brahmin Samaj Sanyukta Morcha banner. Hindu Utsav Samiti and other local organisations attended the discussions. Morcha convenor Virendra Sharma stated that Verma’s comments had caused deep anger among Brahmins.
The protests will focus on two key demands: Verma’s removal from his post and legal action against him. The first phase of protests starts at Vallabh Bhavan, with further plans to escalate pressure on the state government. Community leaders have stressed the need for unity in their response to the controversy.
