Brandenburg an der Havel Seeks Public Input on Noise Action Plan
Brandenburg an der Havel has opened its draft Stage 4 Noise Action Plan for public feedback. The consultation period runs from February 23, 2026, to April 10, 2026. Residents and stakeholders are invited to review and comment on the proposals.
The draft plan focuses on major roads handling over three million vehicles annually. This equates to around 8,200 vehicles passing daily. The city aims to address noise issues along these busy routes.
A copy of the draft will be available at the City Administration office during opening hours. Those unable to visit can also book an appointment. Feedback can be submitted in person or through other channels during the four-week consultation window. While specific noise reduction measures remain undisclosed, the plan follows earlier stages of Brandenburg's noise management strategy. Public participation is now underway, giving locals a chance to shape the final version.
The consultation closes on April 10, 2026. All submitted feedback will be considered before finalising the plan. The city administration will then move forward with implementing the approved noise reduction strategies.
