Brandenburg's New Mayor Opens First Public Office Hours for Residents
Mayor Daniel Keip has invited residents of Brandenburg an der Havel to attend public office hours on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. The newly elected mayor, sworn in just days earlier, will meet with locals to address their concerns directly.
The sessions will begin at 2:00 PM at the Old Town Hall, located at Altstädtischer Markt 10. Each resident can book a one-on-one conversation with the mayor to discuss personal issues, ask questions, or share suggestions.
To manage appointments efficiently, attendees must register in advance by calling (03381) 58 70 08. This step ensures that everyone gets a fair chance to speak with Keip without long waits. As this is Keip's first set of office hours since taking office on March 7, 2026, no previous attendance figures are available. The event marks his early effort to engage directly with the community.
The public office hours aim to provide a structured way for residents to voice their thoughts. By offering individual meetings, the mayor seeks to foster open dialogue with Brandenburg an der Havel's citizens. Registration remains mandatory to keep the process orderly.
