Man Helps Two Girls and Becomes a Victim Himself - Brave bystander attacked after defending teens from harassment in Fürth
A 41-year-old man was assaulted in Fürth after stepping in to protect two teenage girls from harassment. The incident took place at a bus stop, where the man intervened before the attackers turned on him. Police have since detained four suspects in connection with the case.
The confrontation began when the man tried to help the girls, who were being harassed. The attackers then assaulted him before fleeing the scene with the teenagers. The victim suffered minor injuries in the attack.
Police launched a manhunt and arrested two suspects, aged 27 and 44. During the operation, two other men—25 and 46 years old—became aggressive and were also taken into custody for obstructing officers. All four now face charges of aggravated assault.
Authorities are still searching for the two unidentified girls. They have urged anyone with information to come forward, as witness accounts remain limited.
The investigation continues as police seek more details about the incident. The detained men will appear in court, while efforts to locate the girls persist. Anyone with relevant information has been asked to contact local authorities.
