Brazen burglary at Fürth’s Federal Employment Agency over weekend

A government office in Fürth’s Oststadt district was broken into over the weekend. The incident took place at the Federal Employment Agency building on Kurgartenstraße between Friday evening and Monday morning. Authorities are now searching for those responsible.

The break-in occurred sometime between 5:00 PM on Friday, January 10, 2025, and 7:00 AM on Monday, January 13, 2025. Intruders forced their way into the building, ransacking multiple offices and prying open locked furniture. Items worth several thousand euros were stolen, while property damage amounted to around €1,500.

The investigation into the burglary is ongoing, with police reviewing evidence collected at the scene. The stolen items and property damage have left the agency assessing losses. Authorities continue to seek public help in identifying those involved.
