Bremen's Future Discussed in Citizens' Assembly Tonight

Bremen's future is the focus of a citizens' assembly tonight, with around 300 attendees expected. Mayor Andreas Bovenschulte, unable to attend due to an accident, will be represented by Senator for Construction Dr. Ulrike Ünsal and Interior Senator Joachim Mäurer. The event, starting at 6 p.m. at the Oslebshausen Community Center, aims to discuss urban planning, living conditions, improvements, and pressing issues facing the city.

The assembly, scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2025, will see Senators Ünsal and Mäurer engage with attendees on behalf of Mayor Bovenschulte. Topics up for discussion include how to live and work in Bremen, urban planning, and ways to enhance the city. With over 300 registrations, the event promises lively debate and input from the community.

Tonight's citizens' assembly in Gröpelingen offers Bremen residents a chance to voice their opinions and contribute to the city's future.
