A complaint has been lodged against the Burgenland government commissioner by the 'Neue Eisenstädter' group, following allegations of excessive loan interest rates and illegal apartment sales. The commissioner was appointed on October 15 to investigate these claims.

The complaint, submitted to the Burgenland Administrative Court (LVwG), argues that those affected by the alleged violations were not given the opportunity to present their statements before the decision was made. The regional government, however, remains unfazed by the appeal, maintaining that it does not change the suspected breaches of the Non-Profit Housing Act (WGG).

The complaint is currently under review by the LVwG. Despite the appeal, the regional government stands firm in its position regarding the alleged violations.
