Century-Old Wind Orchestra Debuts New Instruments in Asbest Concert
The M. Borisov Municipal Wind Orchestra, a renowned ensemble with over a century of history, recently gave a concert in Asbest. The event, held at the cultural center 'Rodina', was conducted by Vladislav Rezarenko. The instruments used were newly acquired, thanks to the efforts of Mikhail Zubarev and Asbest Mayor Natalya Tikhonova.
The orchestra's performance was part of its regular schedule, which includes concerts, official events, charity initiatives, and competitions. Zubarev, a deputy of the Sverdlovsk Regional Legislative Assembly, played a crucial role in securing funds for the purchase of new instruments. Over 4 million rubles were allocated for this purpose during the 2025 budget planning. Zubarev worked closely with Mayor Tikhonova to ensure the funds were secured. The new instruments included a flute, clarinet, baritone horn, trumpets, French horns, trombones, tubas, kettledrums, and drums, enhancing the orchestra's sound and capabilities.
The concert in Asbest marked a significant milestone for the M. Borisov Municipal Wind Orchestra, showcasing its continued commitment to excellence despite its age. The newly acquired instruments, secured through the collaborative efforts of Mikhail Zubarev and Natalya Tikhonova, will undoubtedly contribute to the orchestra's future success and continued presence in various events and competitions.
