Changhong and Grundig unite in landmark global appliance partnership

Changhong has formed a major strategic partnership with Grundig, a long-standing European home appliance brand. The deal, announced on 30 March 2026 in Nuremberg, grants Changhong a brand licence for Grundig across key regions and product lines. Both companies aim to expand their market presence and strengthen global competitiveness.

Under the agreement, Changhong will manage Grundig's full value chain. This includes product development, design, manufacturing, sales, logistics, and customer service. The partnership covers major categories such as consumer electronics, large home appliances, air conditioners, and selected small domestic appliances.

The licensed markets span Europe (excluding Türkiye), the Asia-Pacific region, the CIS, and China. Changhong's strong R&D, vertically integrated supply chain, and global manufacturing network will support Grundig's operations in over 55 countries. This collaboration follows CHiQ's steady growth in Europe over the past five years. Through localised channel development, targeted product launches, and brand communication, CHiQ has built a foothold among mass and younger consumers. Grundig will now complement CHiQ within Changhong's brand portfolio, creating clearer differentiation and synergy. Changhong has emphasised a long-term approach to the partnership. The goal is sustainable development, with a focus on improving channel coverage and market reach across Europe and beyond.

The deal reinforces Changhong's position in global markets while expanding Grundig's influence in key regions. By combining Changhong's operational strengths with Grundig's brand recognition, both companies expect to boost their competitiveness. The partnership will cover multiple product lines and span several major markets.
