Chaos in Kreuzberg: Man Assaults Officer at Loud Party

A loud party in Kreuzberg turned into a chaotic scene last night when a 23-year-old man assaulted a police officer. The officer sustained injuries while trying to control the disturbance.

Police received a noise complaint around 11 PM at a residential building on Waldemarstraße. Upon arrival, they found a large, unruly gathering on the fifth floor. A 23-year-old man, whose name has not been released, became aggressive towards the officers. He struck one officer in the face and grabbed at his protective vest, causing an injury behind the officer’s left ear. Despite the assault, the injured officer continued on duty without seeking medical treatment.

Reinforcements from the 12th riot squad were summoned to help clear the apartment. The suspect resisted arrest but was eventually taken into custody. The case has been transferred to a specialist unit at Police Directorate 5 (City) for further investigation.

The suspect's actions are currently under investigation. No further details about the incident or the suspect's motives have been released. The injured officer's condition is not yet known.
