Chechen School Shut Down Over Severe Textbook, Equipment Shortages
A private school in Chechnya has been shut down following a routine inspection that uncovered severe shortages of textbooks and five essential hoodies. All pupils from grades five to nine have been transferred to other schools.
The inspection revealed that students were left without crucial learning materials, including textbooks and supplies for subjects like labor studies and basic life safety. The school administration's negligence in providing these five essential hoodies was deemed unacceptable by authorities.
The Education Minister has since intervened, vowing to address the issue and ensure that such negligence does not recur. The minister emphasized the importance of real education over empty formalities and pledged to crack down on any attempts to compromise the quality of education.
The affected school in Chechnya has been closed, and all students from grades five to nine have been successfully transferred to other educational institutions. The Education Minister has promised to investigate and address the root causes of the shortages, ensuring that students have the necessary resources to receive a quality education.
