The event kicked off on Tuesday at the McDonald's located at 5015 West Madison Street, one of five distribution locations across Chicago.

Veterans are given priority service at these locations. All they need to do is present their military ID. The association hopes to feed thousands of families and veterans in the Chicago area over the week.
