China, Russia Strengthen Ties as Premiers Meet in Hangzhou
Chinese Premier Li Qiang met with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Hangzhou on November 3. The meeting was marked by a welcoming ceremony featuring the national flags of both countries.
Present at the ceremony were Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov, Russian Consul General in Shanghai Dmitry Lukyantsev, and Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui. Also present was Zhejiang Province Governor Liu Jie. During the meeting, Li Qiang expressed confidence in the future prospects for cooperation between China and Russia. The meeting resulted in 'a number of agreements' between the two countries. Following the talks, bilateral documents are expected to be signed, with details to be provided through official government statements, press conferences, and reports from state media of both nations.
