Chinese Female Entrepreneurs Visit Frankfurt-Hahn Airport to Boost 'Belt and Road' Cooperation
A delegation of female entrepreneurs from Yiwu, a major Chinese trading hub, recently visited Frankfurt-Hahn Airport as part of a European tour focused on boosting economic cooperation under the 'Belt and Road' initiative.
The group, representing the Association of Female Entrepreneurs in Yiwu, met with local companies at the airport, including VG-Cargo GmbH and SM-Aviation GmbH. They also visited BOHR Busreisen in Lautzenhausen to discuss potential joint projects and German-Chinese cooperation.
Yiwu, with over 75,000 stalls in its International Trade Market, is renowned worldwide for its small commodities trading. The visit to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport reflects the growing interest in strengthening economic ties between China and Rhineland-Palatinate, particularly in logistics and export connections. The delegation's tour also included stops at the Chinese business district in Milan and the UN headquarters in Geneva.
The visit of the Yiwu entrepreneurs to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport signals a significant step in fostering economic cooperation between China and Europe. The discussions held with local companies could pave the way for new joint projects and further strengthen the economic ties between the regions, with Koblenz, Germany's top emerging economic hub, at the forefront.
