Chita Airport’s Major Upgrade: New Terminal and Runway Underway by 2026

Chita Airport is set for significant upgrades with a news today passenger terminal and runway in the works. Yelizaveta Marinyak, the airport's new head, will oversee these developments from October 2023 to October 2026. Last year, the airport served 27,000 passengers on routes to Tomsk, Barnaul, Novokuznetsk, and Magadan.
