CID probes ex-manager of Zubeen Garg over misused medical funds for Kaushik Das
The Central Investigation Department (CID) is currently probing allegations against Siddhartha Sharma, former manager of late singer Zubeen Garg. The investigation centres around Sharma's handling of funds meant for Kaushik Das' medical treatment.
Kaushik Das, a close associate of Zubeen Garg, claims he received only Rs 20,000 out of the promised Rs 50,000 for his treatment. Das alleges that Sharma prevented him from meeting Garg to discuss the issue. Sharma is accused of misappropriating the remaining funds.
The CID is looking into these allegations as part of its ongoing probe into Zubeen Garg's life and finances.
The investigation into Siddhartha Sharma's alleged misconduct is ongoing. If found guilty, Sharma could face severe consequences. The outcome of the probe may provide clarity on the fate of the unaccounted funds.
