Cologne’s Federal Police Return Under Udo Peltzer’s Final Command Before Retirement
After extensive planning and renovation, the Federal Police have returned to the Cologne Central Station under the leadership of Udo Peltzer. This marks the end of an era for Peltzer, who will retire later this month.
Peltzer, who has served in the Federal Police for over four decades, has led the Federal Police Inspectorate Cologne for many years. The unit, which he will soon depart, employs around 400 personnel and oversees an expansive area of approximately 8,000 km².
Following his retirement, Frank Loskill will take over as the new head of the Federal Police Directorate in Sankt Augustin, succeeding Peltzer.
