Commercial Vehicle Industry Gathering in Karlsruhe 2025: Emphasis on Digitalization and Training

The NUFAM 2025 trade fair, taking place from September 25 to 28 at the Karlsruhe exhibition grounds, is set to showcase modern technology and future transportation concepts.

The event emphasises alternative propulsion with a strong focus on hydrogen and renewable fuels. The Hydrogen Engine Conference of the Hydrogen Engine Alliance will take place for the first time at the event, highlighting hydrogen drives for two days. Renewable and sustainable drive technologies also have a special role during the fair, with opportunities to explore new mobility through guided tours and discussions.

Messe Karlsruhe is utilizing a 90,000 square meter open space for vehicle demonstrations and special formats, including modulated vehicle demonstrations at the Peter-Gross-Bau site.

In addition to the expert forums and specialized programs, the trade fair covers a broad range of thematic areas. These include trucks and vans, interior technology, bodies and trailers, smart city logistics, digital service and telematics, tires, wheels, axles, components, aftermarket equipment, parts, and accessories.

The Central Association of Body and Vehicle Technology (ZKF) is participating with two stands in Hall 2, showcasing solutions in the field of body and vehicle construction.

A specialist forum on telematics and digital services will take place on September 25 and 26. On September 27, the focus will be on charging infrastructure, and on September 28, the Truck Driver Forum will cover topics related to the professional everyday life of drivers.

On September 27, the Nufam Challenge is scheduled, where professional drivers can demonstrate their driving skills. On September 28, a rescue chain with police, medical services, and towing companies will take place.

An additional visitor program is offered by the organizer in the Action Zone, including a children's Unimog course, a goal wall shooting, and a Dekra truck simulator. Speedywash presents a new mobile brush washing system "Basic Battery" at the Nufam 2025 trade fair.

The ZKF, together with the State Guild Association of Baden-Württemberg, is setting up a special area of 120 square meters to present the training profession of bodywork and vehicle construction mechanic. On September 27, Marcus Walter and Florian Klag will record an episode of the official Nufam podcast live on stage, with Christina Scheib as a guest.

Various thematic tours are offered, including an overview of the entire offering ("Classic"), information about alternative drives ("New Mobility"), and a focus on municipal solutions ("Meeting Point Municipal"). The event aims to provide informative discourse and live showcases to address industry challenges and offer concrete solutions.

On September 26, a panel discussion with representatives from politics and business is scheduled. An additional forum organized by the Hydrogen Alliance will present the application possibilities of the hydrogen engine on September 25 and 26. The Peter-Gross-Bau Areal will provide an expanded part of the exhibition area for the first time.

Students are given insight into career perspectives through exhibits and live demonstrations in the special area. The area will also serve as a multifunctional outdoor area for future trade fairs. On September 28, the stage format "Truck and Talk - American Football Edition" will take place.
