Condor Honors Outgoing CEO with Special Airbus A330neo Tribute
Condor has welcomed its twelfth Airbus A330neo, marked with a special tribute to its outgoing CEO. The aircraft, registered D-ANRT, carries the words 'danke, tecke' in honour of Ralf Teckentrup, who led the airline for two decades. His retirement at the end of 2023 closes a long chapter in the company’s history.
Ralf Teckentrup joined Condor after a career at American Airlines. Over 20 years, he shaped the airline’s direction before announcing his retirement at 66. His departure was marked by a farewell event attended by Lufthansa CEO Carsten Spohr, highlighting the close ties between the two companies.
The twelfth A330neo now flies with a permanent nod to Teckentrup’s legacy. His leadership at Condor spanned two decades before he transitioned to Spirit Airlines. The aircraft’s tribute ensures his impact on the airline remains visible for years to come.
