The team now boasts over 200 years of collective expertise across various specialisms. Louise Biddell joins as a Senior Associate, bringing 22 years of experience in international Casualty, Property, and Subrogation claims. A law graduate, she strengthens the team's ability to manage cross-border disputes and complex liability cases.
Kristin DeSouza also arrives as a Senior Associate, specialising in Reinsurance with 24 years of industry experience. Her background covers Casualty, Medical Malpractice, General Liability, Property, and Professional Indemnity claims, adding depth to the firm's high-value risk handling.
Nicole Crowhurst takes on the role of Associate Partner, contributing 33 years of expertise in international Property, Marine, Professional Indemnity, and Cyber claims. Her appointment bolsters the team's capacity in emerging risks like cyber incidents.
Nick Woodward, Chief Claims Officer at Consilium, highlighted the strategic importance of these hires. The firm's proprietary claims system, QUANTUM, further supports efficiency by reducing administrative burdens in processing. The expanded team now covers a wider range of risks, from traditional liability to specialised cyber and reinsurance claims. Consilium's investment in experience and technology aims to streamline handling for clients with complex or high-value disputes.
