Construction Begins on Münsterland's Regional Training Center for Police Officers
Construction of the Regional Training Center (RTZ) in Münsterland is now underway, following the issuance of a building permit on September 10, 2025. The project management of this endeavor, expected to complete by summer 2027, will provide training facilities for the first officers.
The RTZ will be situated off the A43 at exit Nottuln, serving approximately 3,000 police officers from various authorities. While records do not specify which police chief signed the lease in 2024, Police President Alexandra Dorndorf formalised the agreement in January that year. Visible changes on the site indicate significant progress, with the project set to transform the area.
Once complete, the RTZ will become a vital hub for police training in the region, offering state-of-the-art facilities for officers from multiple authorities. The commencement of this project marks a significant step towards enhancing police training and capabilities in Münsterland.
