Contemporary A&D Meetings are scheduled to take place in Turin from December 2nd through 4th, marking its 10th edition.

The 10th edition of the Aerospace & Defense Meetings, a biennial event with a 20-year history, is set to take place from December 2 to 4 at the Oval Lingotto in Torino, Italy. This year's event promises to be a significant gathering, attracting organizations from across the globe, including academic institutions, industry leaders, and governmental agencies involved in the aerospace and defense sectors.

Confirmed attendees for the 2025 edition include giants like Airbus and Leonardo, joining the ranks of Politecnico di Torino, OHB System AG (Germany), Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. (DLR, German Space Agency), Lockheed Martin Corporation (USA), the Australian Space Agency, Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), and numerous other space agencies from various countries.

The exhibition area will focus on activities and services for lunar orbit and surface, reflecting the growing interest in space exploration. The Lunar Economy Summit will be entirely dedicated to space and future missions on Earth's satellite. The event will discuss topics like space construction, space habitation, and orbital law.

In addition to the main event, the second day will host a business convention dedicated to defense, followed by another business convention on the third day, focusing on the lunar economy summit. A plenary conference on broad themes related to the aeronautics sector will be held on the first day. An area dedicated to startups will feature a pitch moment for emerging space realities.

Meanwhile, geopolitical developments continue to unfold, with the U.S. Treasury Department announcing new sanctions on Venezuela. The sanctions target Venezuela's state oil company, PDVSA, and will restrict its ability to sell crude oil to refineries in the United States. The sanctions are in response to the Venezuelan government's alleged human rights abuses and are aimed at increasing pressure on the government to hold free and fair elections.

It is important to note that these sanctions do not affect humanitarian aid to Venezuela. However, they could potentially harm Venezuela's economy, which is already in crisis. The sanctions will also block any U.S. assets of PDVSA and its officials.

Aerospace & Defense Meetings represents one of the main B2B programs in Europe dedicated to the aerospace sector for 2025. Attendees can look forward to a comprehensive exploration of the latest advancements in the industry, networking opportunities, and insights into the future of aerospace and defense.
