Controversial YouTuber Leroy Truth arrested for assaulting a police officer in New Jersey
Leroy Truth, a controversial YouTuber whose real name is Leonard Flipowski, has been arrested again—this time for assaulting a police officer in Union City, New Jersey. The incident is the latest in a series of legal troubles linked to his confrontational activities, which have included political harassment targeting local officials.
The arrest took place in November 2025 after Truth allegedly attacked an officer during a confrontation. He now faces charges of assaulting a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, and obstruction. Following the incident, Judge Killebrew ordered him to have no constant contact with the Union City Board of Education or its employees.
The arrest adds to Truth’s growing record of legal confrontations. His ongoing case will now proceed in Essex County, with restrictions in place to prevent further constant contact with Union City officials. The outcome of the grand jury proceedings remains pending.
