Car Hits Pedestrians - Two Seriously Injured - Couple Severely Injured in Passau Pedestrian Accident
A serious incident occurred in Passau on the morning of November 3, 2025, leaving a 36-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man with severe injuries. The couple was walking on a sidewalk when they were struck by an 84-year-old woman driving a vehicle. Preliminary damage estimates are in the thousands of euros.
The incident happened around mid-morning. The driver, an 84-year-old woman, was turning left when she failed to stop at a stop sign. Her vehicle then mounted the sidewalk, striking a trash bin and the couple walking there. The man and woman were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Miraculously, their two children, who were also present, remained unharmed.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. A forensic expert has been called in to assist, working in coordination with the public prosecutor’s office. So far, no clear cause has been determined, and the investigation is ongoing.
