Court Recovers 3M Rubles for Fugitive Roman Goldman's Estate
Roman Goldman, a former lawmaker and businessman, remains at large. His financial manager, Pavel Karpov, has successfully challenged transactions worth over 3.6 million rubles in a Krasnoyarsk court, arguing they were made with unequal consideration during a suspect period.
Karpov, acting on behalf of Goldman's bankruptcy estate, filed a dispute against Agro Vklad cooperative. The court, as part of Goldman's ongoing insolvency proceedings, fully upheld Karpov's claim. The recovered funds, totalling over 3 million rubles, will now be used to repay Goldman's debts.
The transactions in question were made before Goldman's disappearance. The court agreed with Karpov's argument that they were void due to unequal consideration and the suspect period leading up to Goldman's flight.
The court's ruling in Krasnoyarsk is a significant step in Goldman's bankruptcy proceedings. While Goldman remains a fugitive, the recovered funds will help satisfy his debts. Agro Vklad cooperative has been ordered to pay over 3 million rubles into Goldman's bankruptcy estate.
