Cyclist Injured in Friedrichshain Truck Collision

Friedrichshain was the scene of a morning traffic accident today. A 39-year-old woman, riding a bicycle, was involved in a collision with a Ford truck on the Gürtelstraße, heading towards the Boxhagener Straße. The cyclist, who suffered leg injuries, was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment by emergency services. The investigation into the incident is being handled by a specialized traffic crimes unit from the police directorate 5 (City). The truck driver, a 62-year-old man, was also present at the scene. The identity of the Ford truck driver has not been disclosed at this time. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
