Lippetal (ots)

A 35-year-old man from Lippetal was slightly injured in a collision with a car after suddenly riding his mountain bike onto the roadway. At 9:35 p.m., an 18-year-old driver from Lippetal, along with his three passengers, was traveling along Soest Road in Lippetal toward Oestinghausen in a Ford. Just before reaching a nearby gas station, the cyclist abruptly attempted to cross the road without checking for oncoming traffic. The impact caused the cyclist to fall onto the road, resulting in minor injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
