Cyprus launches new initiative to empower young entrepreneurs in 2026
A new partnership has been formed to boost youth entrepreneurship in Cyprus. The Youth Board and Junior Achievement (JA) are working together to create more opportunities for young people. Their first events will introduce local students to innovative projects and JA's programmes.
The collaboration between the Youth Board and JA aims to encourage young people to take an active role in their communities. Both organisations want to build a future where more opportunities exist for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Two introductory events will kick off the initiative. The first takes place on March 4, 2026, in Famagusta, followed by another on March 11, 2026, in Paphos. Each session runs from 11:00 to 13:00 at the local Youth Multipurpose Centres. Attendees will learn about JA's programmes and see projects developed by students. The goal is to inspire young people to explore entrepreneurship and engage with their local communities.
The partnership marks a step toward increasing youth involvement in business and innovation. Events in Famagusta and Paphos will provide practical insights into JA's work. Organisers hope the initiative will spark interest in entrepreneurship among young Cypriots.
