DAV's Patriot Boot Camp Empowers Veteran Entrepreneurs
Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is hosting a three-day entrepreneurship event, Patriot Boot Camp, from October 15 to 17 at their national headquarters in Erlanger, Kentucky. This event is designed to support military veterans and their spouses who are small business founders. The boot camp offers education, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Participants will be paired with subject matter experts for one-on-one mentoring sessions. Topics covered include AI for small businesses, funding, pitching, and mental wellness for founders. The final day features a pitch competition with $10,000 in non-dilutive funding prizes. Prominent members of the Cincinnati business community will also attend as mentors. The event is sponsored by ESPN, T-Mobile, and Veterans Debt Assistance (VDA). The managing directors or founders participating in the Patriot Boot Camp are not publicly disclosed.
