Daylight Saving Time Begins

Daylight Saving Time starts Sunday—here's how it disrupts Braunschweig's late-night transit

This Saturday night into Sunday, the clocks will spring forward once again. At 2:00 a.m., time will jump to 3:00 a.m., marking the official start of Daylight Saving Time.

For those who struggle to remember which way to adjust their clocks, here's a handy trick: In spring, you move your garden furniture forward (one hour ahead) in front of the house, and in winter, you bring it back (one hour behind) inside.

Braunschweig – As clocks shift to Daylight Saving Time this weekend, the change will also affect late-night public transport in the city.

According to the Braunschweig Public Transport Authority (BSVG), connections at the "Rathaus" stop will run as usual at 1:10 a.m. However, the 2:20 a.m. services will be canceled, with the next available connection at 3:30 a.m.
