Accident on Federal Road: Driver Fails to See Other Car - Deadly Crash on B15n Claims Life of 22-Year-Old Driver in Mecklenburg
A tragic incident occurred on the B15n near Groß Nemerow in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Two people suffered minor injuries, while another sadly lost their life. The collision also resulted in approximately €15,000 in property damage.
The fatal accident involved a 22-year-old German driver from the Schwandorf area and a 78-year-old Romanian truck driver. The young driver was severely injured and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on October 14, 2025. The incident occurred when the 75-year-old woman, driving a car, failed to notice the 22-year-old driver, leading to a collision. The highway was closed for about 90 minutes on Tuesday evening to allow emergency services to attend to the injured and clear the scene.
The accident serves as a reminder of the importance of attentive driving, especially on busy highways. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision and have not yet released further details.
