53-Year-Old Dies in Head-On Collision - Deadly head-on crash in Germany leaves one dead and two teens injured
A fatal head-on collision occurred on Tuesday evening in the Ansbach district of Germany. The crash, involving two vehicles, left one man dead and two teenagers seriously injured. Emergency services responded quickly to the scene near Röttenbach and Heinersdorf.
The accident took place around 23:05 on state road ST2221. A 53-year-old man died at the scene after his vehicle collided with an Audi driven by an 18-year-old. The young driver, a Romanian national, and his 15-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries.
Both teenagers were rushed to hospital for treatment. Authorities closed the road in both directions to carry out their investigation. The crash happened between the villages of Röttenbach and Heinersdorf. Police have not yet released further details about the cause of the collision.
The 53-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The two injured teenagers remain under medical care. Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
